The event will take place on Tuesday, June 5th, at 6:00 p.m. Brian will be sharing his experience with growing the programs of some of the most successful technology focused companies in Maine including CashStar and Wright Express, among others. Brian is also a featured mentor for the MCED's Top Gun entrepreneurship program. PubHub, powered by Baxter Brewing, is a free monthly event series put on by the Casco Bay Technology Hub for the public. We encourage the greater Portland business community to attend PubHub to learn, share ideas, and grow together. Each month will feature a speaker with real-world business expertise who will share their experiences and insight on technology and how it relates to business development, growth, and entrepreneurship.
Our Speaker
Brian Rigney knows how to lead high performing, entrepreneurial teams in launching new businesses and validating powerful economic, service and technology models. At CashStar, he oversees all aspects of the company’s B2B business and product offerings. Previously, he was at Wright Express, where he spearheaded the development of a cutting edge payments solution for the North American construction market, and facilitated Wright Express' entry into Canada by securing domestic and international regulatory approvals to establish a new Canadian bank. Brian was also the Founder and CEO of BlueTarp Financial, Inc., an innovative information and payments company. He holds a BA from Colby College and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
